Description
Commissioned by the Austin Guitar Quartet in 2019. Originally intended to pair with Sérgio Assad’s “Uarekena”, this rhythmically vivacious piece uses alternate tunings, odd meters, and extended techniques to create the sense of a raucous dance coming apart at the seams.
